The caterpillars have a distinct diet. Swallowtail

The caterpillars have a distinct diet.
Swallowtail butterflies feed on tangerine and sansho leaves.
The Kosuzume moth can eat the leaves of wild grapes.

When observed in an insect cage,
If the caterpillar has a favorite leaf, the more it grows, the more appetite it has.
If I put a different leaf in the cage, they will never eat it.

Eclipsed food!
Or is it a habitat created by the history of nature?

The model for this work is a wild grape leaf.
I have observed many kosuzume from caterpillars!

芋虫は食性が明確だ。
アゲハチョウはミカン類やサンショウの葉。
山葡萄の葉は、コスズメ。

虫籠で観察したとき、
好きな葉なら、育つ程に食欲旺盛。
違う葉を入れると、死んでも食べない。

偏食！
と言うべきか、自然の歴史が作り上げた棲み分けか？

作品のモデルは、山葡萄の葉。
沢山のコスズメを芋虫から観察しました！

The caterpillars have a distinct diet. Swallowtail

The caterpillars have a distinct diet.
Swallowtail butterflies feed on tangerine and sansho leaves.
The Kosuzume moth can eat the leaves of wild grapes.

When observed in an insect cage,
If the caterpillar has a favorite leaf, the more it grows, the more appetite it has.
If I put a different leaf in the cage, they will never eat it.

Eclipsed food!
Or is it a habitat created by the history of nature?

The model for this work is a wild grape leaf.
I have observed many kosuzume from caterpillars!

芋虫は食性が明確だ。
アゲハチョウはミカン類やサンショウの葉。
山葡萄の葉は、コスズメ。

虫籠で観察したとき、
好きな葉なら、育つ程に食欲旺盛。
違う葉を入れると、死んでも食べない。

偏食！
と言うべきか、自然の歴史が作り上げた棲み分けか？

作品のモデルは、山葡萄の葉。
沢山のコスズメを芋虫から観察しました！
